Melissa and Jobin grew up together in the same church. Even though they always knew of each other, they didn’t connect on a deeper level until high school, and they waited until college to officially start dating. A few years later, on the evening of New Years Eve, Jobin proposed on a walk around Penn’s campus. He strategically placed a sign that said, “Will you marry me?” next to a hidden pond and took Melissa there on a walk. Funnily enough, it took her a little while to realize Jobin was proposing as she was so excited about the turtles in the pond that she walked right past the sign the first time without even noticing it.

Melissa and Jobin’s wedding reception celebration was filled with laughter, love and a whole lot of dancing. This fun-loving couple loves anything related to sports, food, movies and music, and their easygoing and fun style made their wedding day relaxed and easy. Although they are opposites in many ways, they believe they balance each other out perfectly.

The Adelphia restaurant gave the evening a modern feel, and all the bright, natural light from the windows made filming a breeze. This midsummer celebration was the perfect way for these two lovebirds to tie the knot and it reflected their style perfectly—elegant and classy for the first part of the day, but memorable and in the words of Melissa, “lit” for the second half of the day.

Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your special day!
